Well, it looks like "They" are bringing back overalls for Spring 2010. All I can think of is the years between 1995 and 1997 when I was pregnant with my boys and I wore them to death! I'll never forget my fashionista sister Kate saying, "Would you stop wearing those damn overalls all the time!" or something like that. They were good maternity and post-partum wear though.

I can see wearing the Ralph Lauren look (first pic above). I think with a fitted top underneath and either a bit of height in the heel of a bit of ankle to keep from looking too boxy, it can be a cute look. Just might take a while to trickle down to the masses!

Love Affair with Jules Reid

I am so excited about this post! Jules Reid is a new designer of luxury women's clothing, and TODAY is the first day you can shop her gorgeousness online!

Here are some of my favorites from Jules's Spring/Summer line:

This is the "Teddy," and it is in my closet now and I can't wait for summer!

Adorable shorts and tunic, great for the beach and chic around-town this summer.

I love these pants; a nice change from dresses but still body-conscious - fun at night, I think!

This is my other favorite, after "Teddy." It's called the "Mae" and I "Mae" have to find a way to get this into my closet!

Jules is a Southern girl who now divides her time between NYC and Virginia. She has been a Wall Street broker, an interior designer,and now has shifted her focus to fashion. And boy are we happy about that! Oh, plus she's blonde and gorgeous and has a husband and four kids. I am not worthy.

Pretty in Pink

This (above) came up when I searched the internet, and it startled me because a painting of this room in the White House was used by the Reagans as the official Christmas card one year during his term. I have a framed one that used to belong to a friend who actually received it from the Reagans, and it's in my pink laundry room!

I know it's too much for a lot of people, but I adore pink and orange together.

This one, above, is my favorite: manages not to look too girly and love the wood trim!

In honor of Valentine's Day, a gift of some pretty pink rooms to ogle. I even managed to have one in my own house, which wasn't easy considering I'm the only chick in a family of four (plus three boy dogs). Granted, it's the laundry room, but no one can question who spends the most time in there!
